人々が集い様々な活動が行われ、利用した人々の記憶に残る駅前広場を提案します。
1.秋吉台の鍾乳洞「百枚皿」をモチーフとし、様々な皿が重なり合って広がっていくような 大屋根空間を提案します。
2.皿状の大屋根がペデストリアンデッキとなり、シェルターの役目も同時にはたします。
3.皿状の大屋根というデザインコードで、周辺の整備地区や商店街も統一することで駅前空間が一つになり、広場は隣接する地域の前庭空間となります。
4.広場と屋根の下、ペデストリアンデッキなど、駅前広場全体を利用したイベントや文化的な活動などを行える場所づくりをします。
5.緑溢れる空間とするため、山口県内の各名所から植物を移植し、四季を通じて花が咲き、山口の四季を感じ取ることができます。
6.雨水の再利用、ソーラー発電などを取り入れ、日頃は省エネルギーのため、災害時には広場として独立したインフラを整備します。
駅前広場が一つのアイコンとして人々の記憶に残り、山口県を代表する陸の玄関口にふさわしいアイデンティティーを創出します。
We proposed the memorable station square where people can gather for activity.
1. The motif is a calcareous cave, “Hyakumai-zara” in Akiyoshidai. It is a large space constructed with various ‘plates’ spread throughout the space.
2. A large roof ‘plate’ works as a pedestrian deck as well as a shelter.
3. The station square is connected with the surrounding area by keeping the same design code with the station and the station square serves as a courtyard for the neighborhood.
4. The square, the pedestrian deck and the space under the roof are used as a space for events and cultural activities.
5. Various species of flowers bloom throughout the year by transplanting from various locations in Yamaguchi.
6. The recycling of rainwater and the use solar panels are employed for energy saving and are used as an independent infrastructure in the event of natural disaster.
We hope the station square can be a memorable space and act as an iconic symbol that can create a strong identity as the entrance to Yamaguchi.
